Wind Ensemble 

Wind Ensemble was founded under MusicCollege in 90^th.

Leo Tkabladze, well-known professor, became its leader. The orchestra obtained number of prices in various festivals. In 1997, it was awarded by honor price in the first World Youth Delphiada. In 2000, it was awarded Diploma of Otar Taktakishvili Georgian Music School and School students’ overview- competition.

After pass away of Leo Tkabladze, his son Sergo Tkabladze, head of Wind Instrument Department, teacher of Valtorn class, became its leader.

Under his performance, the orchestra participated in number of activities of Tbilisi capital including “Tbilisoba Celebration” and concerts dedicated to the Georgia’s Independence Day.

In 2009, the orchestra became laureate of the republic festival “Find Your Star”.

It had concerts in small, national music hall, under open sky as squares and public parks. (see photo gallery)
