On February 3rd Hotel Radisson Blu Iveria hosted the Choir of E. Mikeladze Central Music School 10th Anniversary Reception. Within the event the choir summarized international projects successfully accomplished during the 10-year period which aimed international cultural exchange and popularization of Georgian folk songs in different parts of the world.

On February 3rd Hotel Radisson Blu Iveria hosted the Choir of E. Mikeladze Central Music School 10th Anniversary Reception. Within the event the choir summarized international projects successfully accomplished during the 10-year period which aimed international cultural exchange and popularization of Georgian folk songs in different parts of the world.

The reception was attended by the honorable guests: Mr. Julius Tsai, cultural attaché of the US Embassy in Georgia and other US Embassy representatives, Austrian Embassy representatives, representatives from the United Nations Georgian office. Also, the event was attended by choir sponsors and supporters. Within the event choir director Badri Jimsheleishvili, E. Mikeladze Central Music School deputy director Lamara Taktakishvili and famous Georgian folklorist Gia Bagashvili made impressive speeches. Also, the video collage describing choir 10-year history and video messages from international partners, host choirs, festivals and supporters were shown. In the end, the choir members were awarded with the UN certificates from the United Nations Vienna Headquarters for participating in the World Peace Choral Festival in summer 2019. Also, the choir director was awarded with the honorable certificate by the school administration.
